When you have a lot of ViewModels and Actions that navigate between them it is easy to loose the overview of what goes where. MDriven Designer has new tool to help you to get back in control...

To make your experience more comfortable, we set the main tags mentioned in the video to the right bar menu of this mini player. Choose the interesting subtitle on the list and immediately get to the exact theme timeplace in the video. Now you can pick any topic to be instructed without watching the whole video.

navigation between ViewModels Action navigations and ViewModel

Raw subtitles text

Hi and welcome, I'm going to show you a new

thing that we added to MDriven designer

but first of all of all I would

like to thank you all

that subscribe and watch the

videos on turnkey and everything like that

thank you very much

when the project

is growing it gets harder and harder to

keep track of navigation between View Models

so I'm just doing a small sample

here to show what the issues are

so taking that you have a

small model with for only four classes

that have relations between them and you

have different views to show things here

and you have actions to bring up all the

different views

it's you don't need that many to loose

track of how things navigate back and forth

so what we have done is to address that need

so as you can see here and we got a few

actions one for each your model that

brings it up and I did these as class

actions, just to show it fast

and usually, I have my screens like this

I normally work on 3 different screens

and I have one with the viewmodels

one with the model in the middle and the actions

but we added a new

thing to the overview model and that's

called actioncnavigations and view models,

so here we show all the view models available in

the viewmodel and all the actions that takes

you there in one overview screen

I'm going to show you slightly more

complex example this is actually

the license and ticket application and

have quite a few screens and now it's

I get a great overview of how things are

connected to each other and

how I navigate between them and it's for me at

least that I have found it very helpful

so try that out, thank you for watching
