Starting with MDriven Turnkey

Starting with MDriven Turnkey === MDriven Turnkey enables internet application development using technologies like JQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, MDriven Framework, Azure, and SQLServer. It offers a subscription model without per-user fees or restrictions, though additional performance needs may incur extra costs. Users can retrieve data and end subscriptions anytime. The platform includes a video with navigation to specific topics. It's recommended to use the latest MDriven Designer, available via a ClickOnce installer compatible with Internet Explorer and requiring plugins for Chrome and Firefox.

MDriven Turnkey is a new way to develop internet applications. It is based on proven technologies like JQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, MDriven Framework, Azure, and SQLServer. You can subscribe to an MDriven Turnkey site that holds your application. Your application is truly yours, and there are no per-user fees or restrictions. However, a need for additional performance may trigger extra costs. You can retrieve all your data and end your subscription with any navigation item. There is no lock-in.

To make your experience smooth, we set the main tags mentioned in the video to the right bar menu of this mini-player. Choose an interesting subtitle on the list and immediately get to the exact theme navigation item in the video. Now you can pick any topic to be instructed on without watching the whole video.

What you build with Turnkey

MDriven Turnkey is the web front end for an MDriven application. You define the application’s information model and user interface in MDriven Designer, upload the model to MDriven Server, and use Turnkey to run the resulting web application.

For example, you can model a Car type with a RegistrationNumber attribute, create a list screen for all cars, and add actions that create and edit cars. After you upload the model, those actions are available in the Turnkey site.

Turnkey uses web technologies including Bootstrap rendering for HTML5 user interfaces. It works with MDriven Designer and MDriven Server, and the product line also supports technologies and databases described in Documentation:MDriven Product Line.

Before you start

You need the following:

  • A Turnkey site or Turnkey token.
  • An account for the site-registration process when you use an MDriven-hosted site.
  • The current version of MDriven Designer.
  • Access details for the MDriven Server that will receive your model.

Use the latest MDriven Designer when working with Turnkey. The Designer’s cloud dialog lets you sign in, refresh the available applications, download a starting model, and upload model changes.

We advise you to always run the latest MDriven Designer when you are working with the Turnkey. The latest MDriven Designer is always available via this link: MDriven Designer
