You can have as many diagrams as you want - a diagram may contain any, all or none of the classes of the model.

You can safely remove a class from the diagram but keep it in the model.

A Class can be added to any number of diagrams and you can choose what features of the class (attributes, associations and methods) that makes sense to show on a particular diagram - hiding the others from view. Need to add a class?
